Today we are at a crisis situation in our government and our society. Almost anyone and just about everyone agrees that things are just simply out of control. People on the left have been brutally used for decades and are rightly upset and downright angry. People on the right have stood by for too long and watched as things spiral day by day out of control. Too many feel that everything seems hopeless and they feel that nothing can be done. But that is not true. The founding fathers in their wisdom provided a way in the Constitution for the people to take back the government if it were to ever get out of control.
I think we can all agree that the government is out of control. In fact they, the politicians currently in government, are no longer in control. The sad truth is that they are all being controlled by corporations and super Pacs and lobbyists and radicals on both sides. But now is the time for us to all realize that we are the victims and they are the violators. All of these evil forces have done their best to put us against each other and the pit us at each other's throats and are attempting to bring forth a crisis so that they can step in and take over.
We must not allow this to happen. We are better than that! We must not allow power hungry and brutal inhumane corporations and people take over our country along with the government and our freedom. This country was founded for the people and by the people. And it is the people to whom the government must answer. Our constitution guarantees it, but we have to know and understand what our rights are and we have to know how to exercise them.
As I've said the Constitution provides a way. It's called an article V convention and there are many, many smart people who are honest and true and are not part of the problem. These people are leading an effort to rein in the government and to bring the power back to the people where it belongs.
Simple: to bring power back to the states and the people, where it belongs. Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. shouldn’t be allowed to make sweeping decisions that impact millions of Americans. But right now, they do.
So it all boils down to one question: Who do you think should decide what’s best for you and your family? You, or the feds? We’d vote for the American people every single time.
